When visiting Bangkok’s go go bars you’re most likely going to want to take a bar girl back to your room. Before you even step through the doors of your hotel with your lady of the night hand in hand you should first make sure the hotel you’re staying in has a bar girl friendly policy. Otherwise you’ll end up paying a Baht 500 joiner fee.

Bar girl friendly hotels in Bangkok will never charge their guest a joiner fee for taking a lady back to their rooms. However they may if you bring more than one, so try and control yourself. But there are bar girl friendly hotels that don’t care how may ladies you bring in but these hotels are usually expensive like the Landmark Hotel and JW Marriott.

But for most who are satisfied with only one bar girl a night in a room there are many bar girl friendly hotels in the budget and affordable range.

The best places to find such hotels are of course near Bangkok’s 3 primary red light districts that are filled to the brim with go go bars.

1. Patpong

Patpong red light district is basically condensed into two streets or lanes called Sois in Thai called Patpong 1 and Patpong 2. Head to those areas for your search for a bar girl. This area has the fewest amounts of bar girl friendly hotels but some of the popular ones are Montien Hotel and Rose Hotel.

2. Nana

The Nana red light district is slightly larger and more spread out. Though go go bars are only found in a small 3 floor building with an open courtyard called Nana Entertainment Plaza. Nana has the most bar girl friendly hotels like the Nana Hotel and JW Marriott.

3. Soi Cowboy

This is the smallest red light district but many will find that Soi Cowboy has some of the wildest and most popular go go bars in Bangkok. There are few bar girl friendly hotels here but don’t worry because Nana and Soi Cowboy are near each other, about a 10 to 15 minute walk from each other. But Sacha’s Hotel Uno and Citadines Sukhumvit 23 are popular hotels that don’t charge joiner fees.

Most bar girl friendly hotels require your bar girl to leave her Thai I.D. card at the hotel’s security desk. This is only for your safety and your bar girl must comply.

Finally these hotels are very popular so it’s a good idea to reserve your choice hotel a few weeks in advance. It’s also a good idea to keep some back up choices just in case your first choice is booked full.

To optimize the fun factor when visiting the infamous red light district of Patpong in Bangkok you should stay in a bar girl friendly hotel. Why? Because paying a 500 Baht joiner fee to a hotel that is not bar girl friendly is not fun.

Out of the 3 red light districts in Bangkok, Patpong has the fewest bar girl friendly hotels within walking range to the wildest go go bars contained in Patpong.

These types of hotels are not some sleazy sex hotels as most would think. Matter of fact you’ll see newly weds, retired grand parents on a holiday and even lesbians staying in hotel that is bar girl friendly. It’s just a policy that certain hotel’s have towards mostly single male tourist out to have fun in Bangkok.

Take for example the Tawana Hotel on Surawongse road. It’s less then a 3 minute walk to one of the entrances of Patpong on Soi 1. From the outside it’s a large modern hotel with a huge lobby with a classical grand piano on one end. Yes, you guessed it. Tawana Hotel has a bar girl friendly policy.

Just down 2 blocks is the Montien Hotel. This is also quite a classy hotel known for excellent service and spacious rooms. If you ever decide to stay there ask for a room facing Lumphini Park because each room comes with a balcony. You’ll get an excellent view. The Montien is right at the entrance of Patpong sex district and bar girl friendly as well. It can’t really get much better than that.

The Tawana Hotel and Montien Hotel are a bit pricey but really affordable. However if budget is a concern then look no further then Bally’s Suite Silom located right on Silom road with direct access to the Bangkok’s BTS and MRT train stations. Bally’s is just a 6 minute walk to the go go bar delights of Patpong and on the way you’ll even pass by Soi Thaniya, a popular hang out spot for Japanese to find cute Thai women.

There’s not just go go bars in the Patpong red light districts, there are also a few soapy massage parlors and they’re near the Rose Hotel, another popular and affordable bar girl friendly hotel just behind the Montien Hotel.

Just remember though a hotel is considered bar girl friendly, your bar girl may have to leave her Thai I.D. card with the security desk. It’s just an extra safety precaution for you.

Finally these hotels are very popular so it would be a good idea to book at least 2 weeks or more in advance.
