I bit of advice: do not try and take the moral high ground on a website such as youtube. Noone cares about what you have to say, and it makes you look pretty sad due to the fact that you looked up this video just so you could inflict your pompous, self righteous view on the world. In future, avoid videos like these that might upset you. In youtuber terms – gtfo

You’re exactly right about one thing & that is the only reason I opened the video was to have my say about this loathsome “sport”. Thanks for the advice but I won’t be taking it because there are some people out there like you who have had their frontal lobe removed and think this is acceptable. I will always ensure that I take the moral highground in relation to ppl inflicting pain or harassment towards something defenseless . It’s 2009 neanderthal!

Defenseless? Did you even watch the video in front of you? I would say the snake had the advantage over the human, one bite and hes dead. Apparently thats your moral high ground out of the window. You have to accept that this is the way these people prove themselves in that culture. If it upsets you, noone cares.

Yes defenseless. Thrown into a ring out of its natural environ, defanged & then antagonised into biting. Wow what a macho sport. No I don’t have to accept this is cultural. We used to put ppl against ppl in rings & call it sport. That was “culture” should we bring that back as well? There are many eg of things which were considered “cultural” which have thankfully disappeared & this should go the same way. If it upsets you that I post comments on this video I don’t care.

Well if your not going to accept these things are cultural, then Ill go back to the original point of my argument: Why are you preaching your views on a trivial website? I, and many other people, use youtube as a source of entertainment. Do you really think your comments are going to do anything to help your cause? Your just making yourself look like someone who has nothing better to do than complain about the world, but do nothing about it.

If you haven’t noticed YouTube is an open forum. It may be “trivial” is interesting as ppl from all around the world can place comments immediately without being edited. If I see something I don’t like I will post my comments regardless if owensamrob likes them or not. I can assure you I’m not concerned whether it makes me look like I complain or not. I noticed this video bcs it was in the being watched section. I would be more concerned about myself if I found entertainment value in it.

In that case, go ahead and post your comments. If you feel so strongly about something then its only right that you should voice your opinion. I still feel posting comments on youtube is a pointless exercise but thats just my opinion.

Thailand also has a bad reputation for the trade in endangered species which should also be eliminated. The country has a lot going for it and doesn’t need barbaric sports. And while I am on my “moral highground” lets put it out there that the trade in women and children that occurs in Thailand should also be stopped or is that “cultural”. I guess a lot of people who enjoy this kind of “sport” might also enjoy the other “pleasures” on offer so I’ll mention that as well.

they just play with them if he was doing that to a dog you faggots wouldnt be bitching. its part of the culture, just because its not yours doesnt mean its wrong.
