Snake ‘boxing Matches’ Draw Tourists In Thailand

Residents of a village in northern Thailand make their living from what they call boxing matches with snakes. Trained snake fighters go eye-to-eye with venomous king cobra snakes. (Sept. 29)

AND I forgot to add that any TOURIST that goes to see this barbaric practice should be ashamed of themselves – you are no better than the sickos that torment the poor snakes because you are supporting it.

How sick and pathetic. Surely you can think of something better to do with your time than torment animals or should I say torture animals because I’m sure you have already ripped out the poor snakes fangs. Stupid old fart. Asians really do have a mean streak when it comes to animals.

I am not an animal activist, but the way we treat animals in the name of food is despicable. Far worse than catching snakes and cooking fish alive. The US has no place criticizing anyone on animal rights.

cause they live in asia, and you in some country where the population believes that food should not be alive when cooked, that dogs should be pets and so. The asian populations’ pets are mostly birds, they don’t have as many domestic pets as we do. Americans are closer to things than asian stereotypes. Of course im generalizing, but you have to understand, people are different. If you moved to asia, they’re going to ostracize you for doing everything differently or reacting wildly.
